Just Clean Your Hands - March 28, 2012

Train-the-trainer and Hand Hygiene Auditing Sessions.  The morning session will describe the provincial Just Clean Your Hands program and will provide attendees with the information they need to support their JCYH program. The afternoon session will describe the process for auditing hand hygiene compliance and will provide the opportunity to practice and discuss auditing using scenarios created to reflect the LTC and Retirement Home environment.  See flyer for more information or click here to register.

Mark Your Calendar! Each year Dr. Zoutman commits to presenting a series of four education sessions by videoconference on interesting topics related to microbiology and/or Infectious Diseases. The sessions are targeted to physicians, infection prevention and control professionals and all other health care professionals. Each session meets the accreditation criteria of up to 1 credit for CFPC members, RCPSC members and up to 1 hour of continuing education for others.

November 11, 2011Lunch time Series for Community Care in SE LHIN

Six videoconference / webcast sessions highlighting best practices for infection prevention & control (IPAC) in the community care setting have been organized by the Infection Control Community Care Committee (I4C). These one hour sessions will be held each Friday commencing September 23rd at noon.

Members of I4C include representatives from the following agencies: Can Care Health Services, Canadian Red Cross, Saint Elizabeth Health Care, Paramed Home Health Care, Bayshore Home Health, SE CCAC, Kingston Frontenac Lennox & Addington Public Health, Hastings Prince Edward County Health Unit and SEOICN.
