Welcome to CHICA-EO's "New Directions in Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection" On-Line Registration Form. This conference is presented in partnership with the South Eastern Ontario Infection Control Network.
This education day will highlight the newly revised PIDAC document "Best Practices for Environmental Cleaning for the Prevention and Control of Infections" and will showcase a trade fair of exhibitors promoting the products and services you require to do your job!
Sessions include:
- Why and How Environmental Cleaning Saves Lives by Dr. Dick Zoutman
- Overview of Best Practice Document and Provincial Toolkit by Liz Van Horne
- Practicing Best Practices from an Environmental Services Manager's Perspective by Danny Young and Kelly Wilson
- Environmental Impact of Cleaning Products by Paul Webber
This day is targeted to all environmental service workers in any health-care setting including community clinics, EMS, doctor's offices and all infection prevention and control professionals.
Please note: Handouts will be posted on both the RICN and CHICA-EO websites as soon as they are available. Handouts will not be available at the conference.
