The Regional Infection Control Networks cover the same geographic boundaries as established for the LHINs. The Regional Infection Control Networks are not supported through the LHIN structure although each of the RICNs have found ways of ensuring the local LHIN is knowledgeable of RICN activities and plans.  Previously located under the Strategic Planning and Implementation Branch of the Ministry of Health, RICNs, since July 2010, are aligned under the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion.  For more information visit http://www.oahpp.ca/
