VISION

In three years, MHICN will be established as the premier regional source for timely and practical Infection Prevention and Control Information, through:

• The provision of consistent, practical, accessible evidence-based IPAC tools and resources to support standardized best practices across the continuum of health care

• The collaborative development and dissemination of skills appropriate education, delivered through a multi-media education approach

• The development of effective regional and provincial partnerships based on clearly defined roles, responsibilities and accountabilities

• Effective internal and external Communication and Marketing through established, understood and effective client communication channels

• Consistent secure funding for IPAC by the MOHLTC and by partners across teh Mississauga Halton region
