Mississauga Halton Infection Control Network (MHICN): Geography

 
The Mississauga Halton Infection Control Network (MHICN) follows the geographic boundary of Ontario LHIN 6, covering Mississauga in the centre; Oakville, Milton, Campbellville and Moffat to the west; Ballinafad, Acton and Georgetown to the north; and the south western part of Etobicoke to the east.
 
Our borders are:
In the West:  Burloak Drive to Britannia Road, then Tremaine Road to Derry Road, then Flamborough Line to Erin-Halton Hills Town Line
In the North:  Erin-Halton Hills Town Line to Winston Churchill Boulevard, then Highway 407 to Highway 10 (Hurontario Road), then Highway 401 to Eglinton Avenue
In the East:  Islington Avenue to the Queen Elizabeth Way, then Kipling Avenue to Lake Ontario
In the South: Lake Ontario
 
We provide infection prevention and control information and support to all health care workers living and/or working in Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network, and work closely with our neighbouring RICNs - Central South to the west, Waterloo-Wellingotn to the north-west, Central to the north-east, Central West to the north, and Toronto Central to the east.
