Infected clients / patients: 4 days after the start of rash
Immunocompromised clients / patients: duration of illness
Signs & Symptoms:
Fever, cough, coryza (runny nose), conjunctivitis, koplik spots (white spots on the inner lining of the mouth) and rash
Comments:
  • Only staff immune to measles should enter room
  • Notify infection control
