In three years, the CEICN will have:

• Developed effective regional and provincial partnerships based on clearly defined governance, roles and accountabilities
• Developed effective partnerships and communication mechanisms resulting in strong brand awareness as the regional source for IPAC information
• Educated and trained infection prevention and control professionals to facilitate the consistent, effective and safe management of infectious diseases across the continuum of health care
• Produced measurable results through focused, effective surveillance practices
• Had a measurable positive impact on the prevention and control of infectious diseases in the Central East region
• Enhanced regional aptitude towards Infection Prevention and Control
