About the Central East Infection Control Network (CEICN)
The Central East Infection Control Network’s (CEICN) geographical boundaries are aligned with the Central East Local Health Integrated Network, Scarborough to the west, Colborne and Campbellford to the east and Haliburton to the north. The Central East Infection Control Network (CEICN) is part of Public Health Ontario (PHO). Regional Infection Control Networks have been created across Ontario to maximize coordination and integration of activities related to the prevention, surveillance and control of infections and infectious diseases across the diverse health care continuum.
